The warm hospitality and the fine bay views from my room made it lovely. The breakfast selection, especially the salmon and scrambled eggs, was great.

The view from my room overlooking the bay was fine. The breakfast spread offered a good variety, and the unique hospitality tray included a lovely mug instead of the usual small cups, a nice touch that stood out.
A few minor inconveniences stood out . The TV could have been larger to enhance relaxation time, and additional lighting like a table lamp would have made writing easy, as the current wall light left me squinting. On the toiletries front, I could have used some shampoo sachets, but that was an oversight on my part for forgetting mine. The location is about a 25-minute walk to events along the seafront, which isn't a huge issue, but an indication of how the weather may affect plans. A little more information about local bus services would have been handy too.

The breakfasts at Craigwell were a proper treat! Freshly cooked to order with a fab selection-think smoked salmon and fluffy omelettes. Plus, the hosts were spot on.
On the flip side, the steep stairs might get dodgy for some, especially after a few pints. And while it lacks a licensed bar, a quick stroll leads to The Golden Lion and other gems nearby.

Single traveler's retreat with fine views
The room is immaculate and has this unbelievable view of the bay you just can't take your eyes off it so much like the perfect setting for a moment of reflection and on top of that the breakfast is fantastic with a full English cooked to perfection so you start your day off right not to mention Ed's friendly service makes all the difference especially when tired from a long journey.
It wasn't inexpensive but you know what you get what you pay for and it's worth it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Craigwell. The warm welcome, clean room, and delicious breakfast. Although my room had some noise due to a poorly sealing window, it didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment. Highly recommended!

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The room we upgraded to offered a spacious layout. A highlight was the breakfast with a fantastic fry-up that easily ranks among the best I've experienced in years.
The only downside was the slightly noisy surroundings during the night.

The room was super cozy with a bright and airy vibe. Seriously loved the big bathroom and the snacks and drinks provided. Even though I didn't have a view, it was peaceful and quiet. Slept like a baby for three nights! Plus, it was super clean. Can't complain about anything here!

Our room was comfy, and we loved eating locally and checking out the nearby fishing spots. Definitely suggest exploring the cycling routes too! Breakfast was a treat, and the hosts were super helpful . Just a tip, parking right outside is a huge plus!
One downside was the location. It was a bit far from some places, and we had to walk a decent distance, but it wasn't too bad overall.

Perfect for pooches
What a lovely spot! The hosts were super friendly, and they even had treats for our dogs. The room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast spread was legit, with everything from fruit to full English. Only thing? The shower coulda used a bit more pressure. Totally recommend this place for dog owners!
